My second husband....Chocolate.

Sorry Michael. These may even be able to give me back rubs. They're just that amazing. If you like your brownies crispy, these are not for you. These almost resemble fudge. The top has that slight flakiness which is a great texture to mix with the brownie itself, and the little chocolate chips throughout. It'll knock those socks right off.

Careful husbands. You may lose a hand trying to snag a bite from your wife's helping.. Which, will be the whole pan.

Here's what you need:
1/2 cup butter
8 ounces roughly chopped semi sweet chocolate
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 eggs plus one yolk
1.2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup (heaping) flour
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup milk chocolate chips

1. Preheat the oven to 350.
2. Melt the butter and chocolate in a saucepan stirring constantly until melted. Set aside.
3. Line a 9x9 pan (round or square ya'll..) with aluminum foil, leaving enough hanging so you can lift it when it's done.
4. Mix the sugars, eggs, vanilla, flour, cocoa and salt together in a bowl. Add the chocolate, and stir until just mixed together. Add chocolate chips, and pour into the pan.
5. Bake for about 30-40 minutes until a toothpick comes almost clean. There should be crumbs on the toothpick not "goo".
6. Dig in while they're hot. Or, wait until they're cooled, lift them out of the pan, and cut them into servings.

They have eggs in them, so it's totally okay to eat them for breakfast right?
