White Chocolate Banana Brownies + Peanut Butter Cream Cheese Frosting
I'm speechless.
I've made one of the best brownies I have even had the pleasure of tasting!
There is one sitting beside my laptop right now.
It won't be there for long.
Whoops.
I just ate it.
Told you.
I have a little idea-giver running around my house. My 2 year old daughter, Piper asked for "nana bwounies pwease" and I couldn't let her down. I went right to it, and succeeded on the first go of it.
This little treat is heavenly and sinful at the same time.
There's so much power in the flavor. And we are just talking about the brownie here, not the icing with it.
Whenever I make the frosting, I secretly hope I have a ton left over to eat. Wait until you taste it. You may have to just serve the brownies without it.
White Chocolate Brownies:
1/2 cup butter
2 cups white chocolate
4 large bananas, mashed
1 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
Peanut Butter Cream Cheese Frosting:
3/4 cup butter, softened slightly
6 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup white chocolate, melted
1 cup peanut butter
2 tsp vanilla
3 +1/2 cups powdered sugar
Cupcake Method:
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. In a saucepan, melt butter, and white chocolate.
3. Add mashed bananas mixing well. There will be lumps, and that's okay.
4. Add the egg, salt, and vanilla, mixing well.
5. Add the flour last, mixing well.
6. Pour into foil-lined pan (for easy cutting later) and pop in the oven for about 35-45 minutes, or until toothpick comes clean.
Icing Method:
1. Beat butter and cream cheese together until light and fluffy.
2. Add white chocolate and peanut butter, mixing well.
3. Add vanilla. Mix well.
4. Add Powdered sugar. Beat for 5-6 minutes on high.
5. Spread + enjoy!
Beautiful soft pillowy icing. Perfect for any kind of cake.
I didn't share any of the bowl-licking with our kids.
Sorry ya'll. It's so dang good!
